Snaptrace is an AI face recognition photo sharing app with a QR code, made for wedding and event photographers in India. The photographer’s photos go to the cloud as they shoot, and each guest scans the event QR code, takes one selfie and gets only the photos they are in.
How does AI face recognition photo sharing work?
The photographer uploads the event photos, and Snaptrace indexes the faces in them. A guest scans the QR code, agrees to face matching and takes a selfie; the selfie is compared with the event’s photos and the guest sees only the ones they appear in. Read more in face recognition for event photos.
Do guests need to download an app or sign up?
No. Guests scan the QR code with their phone camera and the gallery opens in the browser. They do not create an account or give a name, email or phone number.
Is there a free wedding photo sharing app with a QR code?
Yes. The photographer’s first Snaptrace event is free for up to 200 photos, with the QR code and face matching included. See wedding QR codes for guest photos for other free options.
How much does Snaptrace cost?
Per-event plans start at ₹449 for up to 2,000 photos, and monthly plans start at ₹1,350 for 7,200 photos a month, with unused photos rolling over. See pricing.
How quickly do guests get their photos?
Usually within minutes of each photo being taken. The Snaptrace Camera Agent on the photographer’s laptop sends photos from the camera to the cloud during the event, so guests can find their photos the same evening.
What happens to the guest’s selfie and photos?
The selfie is used only to find that guest’s photos. Event photos, face data and searches are deleted 5 to 14 days after the last upload, depending on the plan. See the guest privacy notice.
Which events is Snaptrace used for?
Weddings and receptions most of all, and also corporate events and conferences, college fests and graduations, concerts, marathons and sports days: any event where many guests want their own photos.
Who makes Snaptrace?
Snaptrace is made by UNIT3A, an Indian company, and serves photographers and studios across India at snaptrace.in. It is not related to other products named Snaptrace, such as tools for cloud costs, error monitoring or industrial heating.
